Daniel E. Marvin Jr. WEIU Scholarship

For Journalism and Communication Studies majors. Requires 3.0 GPA, 30 credit hours, TV/radio station work experience, 2 recommendations.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be a full-time Eastern Illinois University student, majoring in Journalism or Communication Studies and having a concentration in Broadcast News or Media Production.
2. The recipient must have a completed a minimum of 30 semester hours with a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the time of the award.
3. The recipient must have worked a minimum of two semesters in the television and/or radio station
4. The recipient must provide two letters of recommendation from faculty members or professional staff at WEIU Radio-TV Center.
5. Financial need is a consideration.

Recipients may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided they meet the criteria stated above.
Awards will be announced in the Spring and Paid in the Fall semester.
