Lawrence and Emily Nichols Memorial Award

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student, accepted to EIU, majoring in U.S. or Latin American History.
2. The recipient(s) must be an undergraduate, second semester, sophomore or junior class level.
3. The recipient(s) must maintain a 3.2 average GPA on a 4.0 scale in the History major.
4. Preference will be given to students not receiving other awards.
5. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated above.

This award will be announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
