Lawrence and Emily Nichols Memorial Award

This scholarship honors the lives of Lawrence and Emily Nichols and gratefully acknowledges their contributions to Eastern Illinois University. Lawrence was a professor of History at EIU for 32 years. Lawrence and Emily raised two daughters, Cynthia and Laura, both of whom graduated with degrees from EIU. Established to financially assist a student of Sophomore or Junior status who is majoring in U.S. or Latin American History
