Francis and Joyce Archibald Memorial Education Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:
1. Must be a full-time student majoring in Education accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
a. Preference given to an incoming freshman or junior college transfer.
2. Financial need is a consideration.
3. Preference given to a graduate of a high school in Douglas County and if none are eligible, a graduate from a small rural high school in
a surrounding community.

The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated herein. The awards shall be announced in the Fall Semester and paid in the Fall or Spring Semester.
