Panther of the Year

The Civic Engagement and Volunteerism Office is looking to recognize and honor students who are active with our office and who have a strong track record of giving their time and energy to making a difference in the lives of others.

The Panther of the Year award is the highest award that an Eastern student may receive from Civic Engagement and Volunteerism. The Panther of the Year award is given to 2 students who have completed 70 credit hours and maintained at least a 3.00 GPA. The students are selected based off academic achievement, service to the community, participation in co-curricular activities and extracurricular activities as a student at Eastern. The Panther of the Year must show exceptional qualities in volunteering and making a difference in the Charleston community.
