Ona Norton Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. The scholarship recipient shall be an Afro-American full-time student who is eligible for graduation.
2. The recipient shall have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25.
3. The recipient shall demonstrate potential for advanced scholarship and/or further professional study including graduate or professional school, employment in a professional field, and high scores on graduation tests.
4. The recipient shall have rendered significant service to the University community and/or Charleston community while at Eastern Illinois University. This may include campus, city, state, or national action.

This award shall be announced and paid in the Spring semester.
