Neil R. Cutright Scholarship
The following criteria must be met:
- Preference shall be given to a graduate of Cumberland High School, Toledo, Illinois, or the successor high school of that region, if necessary. If possible, the announcement of the Neil R. Cutright Scholarship recipient(s) shall be made at the commencement ceremony at the Cumberland High School, or at the successor high school if Cumberland High School ceases to exist.
- Financial need is a consideration.
- The recipient(s) must be accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
- The recipient(s) must be a full-time student at Eastern Illinois University when the scholarship is paid.
- Preference will be given to applicants with physical and functional conditions which cause disability, as disability is defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act or a successor statute at the time of selection of the recipient(s).
- Until the Neil R. Cutright Scholarship Endowment Fund can support multiple recipients, there will be only one Neil R. Cutright Scholarship at a time. When one Cutright recipient graduates, then a new recipient may be selected.
- The recipient of this award can continue to receive it for up to four years (eight semesters) as long as he/she remains enrolled at EIU.
