Oglesby Family Scholarship

The selection committee shall apply the following criteria:

1. The recipient(s) shall be a freshman, who graduated in the top 25% of their high school class and who has declared a pre-business major at Eastern Illinois University.
2. An applicant(s) with demonstrated financial need shall receive preference in determining the recipient(s) of this scholarship.
3. The freshman recipient(s) selected shall continue to receive the scholarship for the second year providing a 3.0 grade point average has been retained while classified as a full-time student. The recipient(s) shall continue as a pre-business major and shall enroll in business courses available at the sophomore level.
4. The recipient(s) selected shall continue to receive the scholarship during the third and fourth year providing the student is following a course of study as a declared business major, enrolled as a full-time student, and has retained a grade point average of 3.0.

The recipient(s) shall be entitled to receive this scholarship for a maximum of 8 semesters provided they continue to meet the criteria stated above.
The award shall be payable in the Fall and Spring semesters.
