Terry McCullough Memorial Community Press Scholarship

The following is the criteria:
1. The scholarship recipient shall be majoring in Journalism with the emphasis in news-editorials/newspaper.
2. The recipient must show a commitment to a community newspaper journalism career by:
a.) writing a statement (250 words) on his/her career objectives, and
b.) working on the DEN (Daily Eastern News), and/or any other public, community newspaper.
3. The recipient shall have a high academic standing.
4. Financial need is a consideration, but only after the number of candidates has been reduced to three.

This award is announced in the Spring and awarded in the following Fall semester.
