Kenneth A. Goldberg Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:

1. The recipient(s) must be full-time junior or senior, accepted to Eastern Illinois University, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences majoring in Math Education or one of the physical sciences; or in the College of Education majoring in Special Education or Elementary Education.
2. Preference can be for recipient(s) seeking teacher licensure in any discipline stated above.
3. The recipient(s) must be in good academic standing.
4. The recipient(s) must demonstrate financial need.
5. The recipient(s) must demonstrate personal integrity and a commitment to positive social change and/or civic engagement through campus or community involvement.

Once selected, the recipient(s) may retain the award for the two consecutive academic years the award is selected by the appropriate college provided the recipient(s) continue to meet the criteria stated herein.
The award(s) shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall.
