Gretchen Sue Denton Memorial Scholarship

For juniors majoring in, and planning a career in, Recreation Administration or Sport and Recreation Management, preferably interested in Ecology.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The scholarship recipient shall be a Junior majoring in Recreation or Sport and Recreation Management.
2. The recipient must declare to make his/her intent to make a career in the field of Recreation following his/her completion of college.
3. The recipient must give a promise of making a contribution to the field of Recreation during his/her career.
4. Preferably, the recipient must show interest in Ecology of some form.
5. Financial need IS considered, but only after all other qualifications are deemed equal.

This award shall be announced in Spring or Fall semester and is to be paid in the Fall semester.
