College of Education Alumni and Friends

Criteria for selection are as follows:
1. Must be a full-time student majoring in one of the options available in the College of Education and accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Must maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0.
3. Financial need is a consideration.
4. Applicant(s) must submit an essay that describes their involvement in student activities at Eastern Illinois University.
5. Consideration shall be given to applicants who are planning a study abroad experience for the academic year in which the award is being provided. The essay should also describe the applicant’s upcoming study abroad plans if applicable.

This award shall be announced in the Spring and disbursed in the Fall.
The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for the award again provided they continue to meet the criteria stated herein.
