For undergraduate child/grandchild of Macon County IL firefighter, Requires 3.0 GPA, essay.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time undergraduate student accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient(s) must be a child or grandchild of a current or retired firefighter from Macon County, Illinois.
3. The recipient(s) must maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0.
4. The recipient(s) must provide a brief summary describing current or past involvement with community service.
5. Any major shall be eligible with preference given to a student majoring in Art, Music, Theater, Arts, English, History, Philosophy, or Foreign Language.
6. Financial need is not a consideration.

This award shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall semester.
