Mathematics Alumni Scholarship

New Agreement description
Criteria for selection are as follows:

1. Must be a full-time undergraduate student accepted at Eastern Illinois University majoring in one of the degree programs within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
2. Must maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0.
3. The recipient(s) must demonstrate outstanding achievement in the study of mathematics or computer science and shall provide a brief statement describing their success in the area of study while a high school or college student. The committee shall consider the applicants promise of being an effective and responsible representative of the mathematics academic community when making selections.
4. Financial need shall be a consideration.

Recipients shall be eligible to retain the award for subsequent years provided they continue to meet the criteria for the award.
The award shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall.
