Kristin Beedy Karner Memorial Scholarship

For female students in Accounting. Requires 3.0 EIU GPA, 30 EIU credit hours, regular employment or volunteer work, essay on future goals.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The scholarship is awarded to a female student(s) with a declared major in Accounting.
2. The award recipient(s) shall have completed at least 30 credit hours of college-level coursework at Eastern Illinois University with an overall EIU GPA of 3.0.
3. Financial need should be a consideration.
4. The student recipient(s) should work part-time or volunteer personal time on a regular basis.
5. The student recipient(s) should compose a short essay describing the student’s current and future goals, and plans for career and family.
6. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated above.

Award announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
