The Melinda Clancy Hegarty Memorial Travel Fund

The following criteria must be met:
1. Must be a full-time student in good standing majoring in Arts accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Preference will be given to a student majoring in Art History.
3. Recipient(s) must show promise and/or dedication to the field, as demonstrated by their academic performance.
4. Applicants shall submit a one-page narrative describing how this award will enrich their educational experience.
5. The recipient(s) may be eligible to receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated herein.
6. The award must be for participation in activities to enhance their education in the Arts, such as but not limited to attending conferences, workshops, and seminars. Costs would include such items as registration fees, supplies, and travel expenses.
7. The award(s) shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall Semester.
