For juniors/seniors getting K-12 teacher certification, preferably from 1) Kansas 2) Edgar 3) Clark. Requires financial need. Renewable.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

  1. The recipient(s) must be a junior or senior majoring in a program that will lead to teacher certification and who intends to teach at the
    K-12 level and accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
  2. Financial need must be a consideration.
  3. Preference is given in the following order
    a. Kansas High School Graduate
    b. A graduate from a school in Edgar County, IL.
    c. A graduate from a school in Clark County, IL
  4. The recipient(s) are eligible to apply for the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated herein.

Award announced in the spring and paid in the fall.
