For Business majors residing in Central Illinois. Financial need considered. Scholastic ability may be determined through competitive exam.

The following criteria must be met:

1. Preference for the Donald L. and Clara Alice Seaman Shawver Scholarship will be given to Eastern Illinois University students who reside within the Central Illinois region (defined as Champaign, Christian, Clark, Clay, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Jasper, McLean, Montgomery, Moultrie, Piatt, Shelby or Vermilion counties).
2. Financial need will be a consideration.
3. The scholastic ability of the recipient(s) will be a consideration. Scholastic ability may be determined by a competitive examination administered through the Lumpkin College of Business and Technology for those students who wish to compete.

This award shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall semester.
