John and Katharine England Currey Scholarship

For undergraduates, preferably in Marketing. Requires 3.0 GPA (or 2.5 w/ 32+ hrs/wk of employment), 1-page statement on aptitude, goals.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student, accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Preference should be given to marketing majors.
3. The recipient(s) must have an overall GPA of 3.0 unless he/she can demonstrate that he/she is employed over 32 hours per week, then the recipients may have an overall GPA of 2.5.
4. The recipient(s) must submit a one-page written statement demonstrating aptitude and promise to succeed in sales and a determination to succeed in future career goals.
5. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated above.

This award shall be payable in the Fall/Spring semester.
