Dr. and Mrs. Jerry Heath Sports Medicine Scholarship

For sophomores and juniors. Preference given to varsity athletes interested in sports medicine; or Pre-Medicine or related majors.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient(s) shall be an undergraduate Sophomore or Junior student who is enrolled full-time at Eastern Illinois University.
2. Preference shall be given to a varsity athlete who shows interest and aptitude for the field of sports medicine.
3. Preference shall also be given to a student(s) with a declared major in Pre-Medicine or closely associated field of study.
4. Preference shall be given to a student(s) who is receiving no other athletic scholarship(s).
5. Financial need shall be the determining factor given otherwise equally qualified applicants.
6. Recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for, and receive, the award again provided she/he continues to meet the criteria stated above.

Award will be announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
