John "Smoke" and Mary Frances Pauley Scholarship in Industrial Technology

For freshmen majoring in Engineering Technology. Requires 3.0 GPA, good moral character, 2 letters of reference, community involvement.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The scholarship is to be available to students studying Engineering Technology (formerly Industrial Arts, Industrial Technology, Applied Engineering and Technology), enrolled full-time at Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient(s) shall be completing his/her freshman year and entering into his/her sophomore year.
3. The recipient(s) shall be chosen based on academic excellence (i.e. in good academic standing/not probation, minimum GPA 3.0) and good moral character (i.e. the applicant shall submit two letters offering character references and/or two letters which demonstrate civic service or community involvement).

This award shall be split for disbursement between the Fall and Spring semesters.
