For Business juniors and seniors, preferably in HR Management, from Bloomington or nearby. Requires 3.3 GPA, resume, short essay.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

  1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student(s) in the School of Business at Eastern Illinois University.
  2. Preference given to student(s) majoring in Management with a concentration of Human Resources Management.
  3. The applicant(s) must include a brief summary that describes the recipient demonstrating his/her work ethic, personal values, and motivation to make a difference in their career.
  4. The applicant must include a resume.
  5. The recipient must maintain a GPA of at least 3.3.
  6. The geographic location preference includes the following: 1) Students from Bloomington High School (Illinois), 2) Any other public/private high school in Bloomington or Normal, Illinois, 3) Any high school in McLean County, Illinois, and 4) any high school within the State of Illinois.
  7. Financial need can be used as a consideration, but academic record has higher priority.
  8. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for the award again provided he/she continues to meet criteria.

Award announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
