For seniors in Accounting. Requires 3.6 GPA, 30 credit hours at EIU, resume detailing job experience, ethics, potential for success.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

  1. The student must have senior status.
  2. The student must have completed at least 30 semester hours of coursework at Eastern Illinois University.
  3. The student must have an overall grade point average of 3.6 or higher (4.0 scale) on all work taken at Eastern Illinois University.
  4. The student must complete an application for the award available through the College of Business.
  5. From the eligible applicants, the Award Committee will select the student on the basis of her/his possession of qualities needed as a professional accountant. These qualities include, but are not limited to, job experience, ethics, involvement in activities, and potential for success.

Award announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
