Jackman Academic Excellence Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:
1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student, accepted to and enrolled in Eastern Illinois University, admitted into teacher education, and majoring in an undergraduate program in the College of Education and Professional Studies (or successor administrative unit) leading to teacher licensure.
2. The recipient(s) must have a grade point average of 3.0 or greater.
3. The recipient(s) must play an active role in student professional organizations and provide service in professional organizations.
4. When selecting recipients, the preference shall go to students whose parents are EIU alumni, particularly from programs within the College of Education and Professional Studies (or successor units).
5. The past recipient(s) are not eligible to receive the award again.

Award announced in the spring and paid in the fall.
