Edgar County EIU Alumni Scholarship (Athletic) Fund

For students from Edgar County, primarily those with athletic intent. Requires 3.0 GPA, U.S. citizenship, dependability, potential.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be from Edgar County.
2. The recipient must maintain a “B” average or above.
3. The recipient must demonstrate dependability and potentiality.
4. The recipient must demonstrate University athletic intent.
5. Should there be no prospective or current EIU student-athlete from Edgar County available to receive this scholarship, it will then be awarded to a non-student-athlete attending Eastern Illinois University from Edgar County.
6. Financial need is not a requirement.

This scholarship is announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
