John and Mary Kensil Delta Chi Scholarship

For undergraduate/graduate students in Business majors & Delta Chi Fraternity (preferably leaders, interested in international finance).

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student.
2. The recipient(s) must be a Pre-Business major or Business major accepted into the EIU School of Business or a graduate studies in Business student accepted into the graduate studies in Business program.
3. The recipient(s) must be a member in good standing with the Eastern Illinois University Delta Chi Fraternity. Preference should be given to an existing or former Chapter President or member who shows substantive chapter and campus leadership.
4. If the EIU Delta Chi Fraternity is neither a chapter or colony recognized by Eastern Illinois University, the recipient must be the highest-ranking Inter-Fraternity Council elected officer majoring in Business or, if there is no officer qualified, then the selection committee should apply all other criteria in selecting a recipient among all students that are Inter-Fraternity Council representatives of the respective chapter/colonies on campus.
5. Financial need may be a consideration but is not a requirement.
6. Preference shall be given to those applicants with interest in international studies of finance.
7. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated above.

Award announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
