Panos and Kate Efsta Scholarship

The selection committee shall apply the following criteria:
1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student accepted to Eastern Illinois University who has completed one year of study at the university and is majoring in Physics.
2. This award will be presented to the individual with highest GPA at completion of his/her first year of study and who also has an overall GPA of 3.5 or above.
3. Financial need is a consideration with preference given to a student with the greatest demonstrated need if there are two or more students who meet the criteria specified above.
The award(s) shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall semester.
