Journalism Grant-in-Aid Award

Incoming freshmen/transfer students:
• Officially enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the award
• Remain in good academic standing
• Agree to the following:
Once on campus, I will demonstrate my intention to pursue a career in journalism by:
1) Active participation in one or more of the student media programs,
OR
2) Participation in co-curricular programs affiliated with the department of Journalism,
OR
3) Working part-time in a professional situation
• Agree to the following:
—I understand that this award may be rescinded if I fail to maintain good academic standing or withdraw from the University,
AND
—I understand that this award may be rescinded if I do not comply with the “Student Conduct Code,”
AND
—I understand that this award may be rescinded if I fail to meet advisor requirements.

Continuing students:
• Officially enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the award
• Remain in good academic standing
• Actively participate and/or qualify in one or more of the following award areas:
