Sardella Family Nurse Incentive Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) shall be either a full-time student or a part-time student accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient(s) shall be a non-traditional student enrolled at the University to accomplish the RN to BSN completion.
3. The recipient shall demonstrate a commitment to a career in hands-on nursing as their chosen profession.
4. The scholarship shall be given to a student as an incentive to achieve success, and preference shall be given to a student who demonstrates the greatest potential for lifetime success.
5. The recipient(s) shall have a minimum 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) after completion of one semester in the RN to BSN program.
6. The scholarship shall be given to a student whose hometown is in the State of Illinois and within a 100-mile radius of Charleston, Illinois.
7. Financial need shall be a consideration.
8. The recipient(s) may receive the scholarship only once.

This award shall be announced in the Spring and paid in Fall semester.
