Dr. Henry A. Taitt Physics Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. At the time of application, the candidate(s) must either: have applied to Eastern Illinois University to become a full-time student majoring in Science with Teacher Certification, Physics specialization; OR currently enrolled at Eastern Illinois University as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Science with Teacher Certification, Physics specialization.
2. The recipient(s) must be interested in teaching high school physics.
3. Preference shall be given to graduates of a high school located in Coles County.
4. The selected recipient must be enrolled in good standing at Eastern Illinois University as a full-time student majoring in Science with Teacher Certification, Physics Specialization.

Award to be announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester.
