Bachelor of General Studies Degree Completion Scholarship

For majors in the General Studies (BGS) adult, non-traditional program, with 1 or 2 classes left. Requires letter showing financial need.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be a part-time or full-time, non-traditional student, enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in General Studies Program, and accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Financial need is a primary consideration.
3. The recipient must have one or two classes left to complete their BGS Degree.
4. Applicant must submit a letter explaining their current circumstances surrounding the need for financial assistance. Financial need will be verified by the EIU Financial Aid Office.

This award shall be announced in the Spring and disbursed in the Fall semester.
