Harry Frost Chemistry Scholarship

For juniors, seniors, graduate students in Chemistry, preferably 1) non-traditional 2) employed 20+ hrs/wk. Requires 2.75 GPA, essay.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

  1. The recipient must be a full-time junior, senior, or graduate student majoring in chemistry or teacher certification with chemistry specialization accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
  2. The recipient must maintain an overall cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
  3. A one-page statement of career goals must be included with the application.
  4. Financial need is a consideration.
  5. First preference is given to a non-traditional student.
  6. Second preference is given to a student employed for at least 20 hours per week in addition to their course load.
  7. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for the award again provided he/she continues to meet criteria.

Award announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
