Catherine A. Smith Piano Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:
1. Must be a full-time incoming freshman or transfer student majoring in Music accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient must exhibit talent in piano performance as determined by the selection committee.
3. The recipient must maintain a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0 in music classes.
4. Financial need may be a consideration.
5. Recipients may be eligible to apply for the award again provided they continue to meet the criteria stated herein.

The award will be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall.
