Dr. Louis Grado Scholarship in Education and Service

For undergraduate Education majors, preferably those planning to pursue a public service career. Requires short essay, resume.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be a full-time student, majoring in Education, who has been accepted to Eastern Illinois University and in good academic standing.
2. The recipient shall demonstrate a commitment to teaching.
3. Preference shall be given to applicants who strive to provide public service and/or pursue a career in a public service profession.
4. Financial need shall be a consideration.

Recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for, and receive, the award again provided she/he continues to meet the criteria stated above.

Award announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
