Dr. William V. Weber Minority Affairs/TRiO Retention Fund

For undergraduates in TRiO with a 3.0 GPA who qualify for financial aid. Preference given to first-generation and minority students.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) must be a participant in good standing in the TRiO Program.
2. Recipients must qualify for financial aid.
3. Have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
4. Have committed to continue studying at EIU.
Preference will be given to first-generation students, minority students (including gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students), and TRiO students.

Each recipient must be nominated by a TRiO Program advisor, TRiO Program staff member, or TRiO Program academic mentor who has worked with the recipient
The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated above.
This award shall be announced in the Spring and paid the following Fall semester.
