Nancy E. Henn Memorial Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. Applicants for this award:
a. Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Eastern Illinois University and admitted to the teacher education program.
b. Must be majoring in a program leading to teacher certification.
c. Must be in good academic standing at the time the award is issued with a minimum of a 3.25 grade point average out of 4.0.
d. Must submit a short essay discussing his/her intent to become a teacher and his/her financial need.
2. Financial need is a consideration and may be used by the selection committee as the determining factor should all other criteria be equal.
3. Preference shall be given to a female student.

Award announced in the spring and paid in the fall.
