Pierre Toussaint Journalism Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. At the time of selection in the spring semester, the recipient(s) must be a full-time freshman at Eastern in good academic standing majoring in Journalism who has earned 12 to 18 credit hours at Eastern.
2. The candidate must demonstrate financial need.
3. Preference shall be given to, but not mandated, culturally diverse and under-represented students.
4. Award funds may be applied to educational expenses incurred at Eastern Illinois University not related to tuition.

This award will be announced in the Spring and disbursed the following Fall semester.
