Linda Witt Komes Language For Literacy Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) must be a degree seeking graduate student in good standing enrolled at Eastern Illinois University in the Communication Disorders and Science major.
2. The recipient(s) must maintain a GPA of at least 3.00.
3. Financial need is not a consideration.
4. The recipient(s) educational focus shall be on: 1) the study of language and literacy development and the underlying speech/language processes of literacy learning; 2) policy, practices, and procedures for language and literacy learning; 3) addressing needs relative to language and literacy challenges in the educational setting.
5. The recipient may be eligible to receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated herein.

This award will be announced in the Spring and disbursed in the Fall.
