Dr. John L. Roberts Scholarship in Middle School Education

For sophomores or higher in Elementary Education (Middle School), preferably from Coles or surrounding counties. Requires 3.0 GPA.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be a full-time student, of sophomore or higher standing, majoring in Elementary Education with the Middle School option, and accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Recipient(s) must have graduated from a high school in one of the following counties: Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie, or Shelby.
3. The recipient must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
4. Financial need is a consideration.
5. The recipient(s) may be eligible to receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet criteria.

This award shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall semester.
