Mitchell Gurick Student Trustee Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:
1. Must be a full-time undergraduate student accepted Eastern Illinois University; with intent to enroll in the Lumpkin College of Business and Technology or College of Education. Preference will be given to student(s) majoring in Career and Technical Education.
2. Must have a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0.
3. One letter of recommendation is required from a college professor, high school teacher/counselor, or former employer.
4. A brief written statement describing qualifications, leadership qualities in and out of the classroom, and extra-curricular activities. Preference will be given to an active Student Government Member.
5. Financial need is not a consideration.
6. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated herein.

The award(s) shall be announced in the Spring Semester and paid in the Fall Semester.
