Tim and Melanie Mills Nursing Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:

1. Must be a full-time student majoring in Nursing accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Applicants shall submit a statement describing their career aspirations. Preference will be given to students expressing a desire to utilize their Nursing degree to work in patient advocacy or event planning in nursing, assisted care, or other health care setting.
3. Recipient(s) shall reside in the following Illinois’ counties: Coles, Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie, Effingham, Cumberland, Shelby, Jasper, Clark, Fayette. If no applicant meets this residency requirement, then a recipient(s) may be selected with a residence in another Illinois County.

The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for the award again provided they continue to meet the criteria stated herein.
Awards shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall.
