Paul D. Pierotti Memorial Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) shall be a full-time student, majoring in Biological Sciences, accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient(s) shall maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher.
3. The recipient(s) shall plan to pursue natural resource management or another environmentally-related field as a career.
4. The recipient(s) shall submit an essay on an environmental or natural resource topic of up to 500 words on subjects provided by the selection committee.
5. Preference shall be given to applicants whose residence is within DuPage County. If no one within DuPage County meets the criteria, selection may come from contiguous counties.
6. Additional preference for this award shall be provided if the applicant volunteers or is associated with The Conservation Foundation in Northeastern Illinois and/or The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.
7. The award(s) shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall to Eastern Illinois University to be first applied against costs (tuition, fees, housing, etc.) associated with the recipient(s) attending Eastern Illinois University.
