William and Melissa Higelmire Department of Recreation Administration Student of the Year Award

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient must be a full-time student majoring in Recreation Administration accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient must maintain a major GPA of at least 2.75 and have completed a minimum of 20 credit hours in the major.
3. Financial need is a consideration.
4. Special consideration will be given to service to the department, potential for leadership in the field, and/or academic department.
5. The recipient may be eligible to receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet criteria.

This award is to be announced and paid in the Spring semester.
