Charles A. Hollister Pre-Law Award
For juniors and seniors studying Pre-Law. Requires 3.25 GPA, membership in the Pre-Law Society, 4 Pre-Legal courses and 1 in public law.
Full description:
The following criteria must be met:
- The recipient shall be a junior or senior accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
- The recipient shall have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater.
- The recipient must have been a persistent member in the Pre-Law Society (formerly known as Sigma Iota Lambda) at Eastern Illinois University, for a minimum period of one year.
- The recipient will have taken a minimum of four courses that are detailed in the Pre-Legal Studies brochure, or courses formally sanctioned by the Pre-Legal Advisor.
- The recipient will have taken at least one of the public law courses offered in the Political Science curriculum at Eastern Illinois University.
- The recipient will have shown an interest in the community by serving either in a law-related internship at Eastern Illinois University or by some other form of community service.
This award will be announced and awarded in the Spring semester.
