Charles A. Hollister Pre-Law Award

For juniors and seniors studying Pre-Law. Requires 3.25 GPA, membership in the Pre-Law Society, 4 Pre-Legal courses and 1 in public law.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

  1. The recipient shall be a junior or senior accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
  2. The recipient shall have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater.
  3. The recipient must have been a persistent member in the Pre-Law Society (formerly known as Sigma Iota Lambda) at Eastern Illinois University, for a minimum period of one year.
  4. The recipient will have taken a minimum of four courses that are detailed in the Pre-Legal Studies brochure, or courses formally sanctioned by the Pre-Legal Advisor.
  5. The recipient will have taken at least one of the public law courses offered in the Political Science curriculum at Eastern Illinois University.
  6. The recipient will have shown an interest in the community by serving either in a law-related internship at Eastern Illinois University or by some other form of community service.

This award will be announced and awarded in the Spring semester.
