For current football or basketball athletes, or incoming freshmen whose HS career shows potential to help EIU’s football or basketball team.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student, accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient(s) must be a player who is deserving and currently participating in football or basketball at EIU or an incoming freshman whose high school career shows potential to help Eastern’s football or basketball team.

Award announced in the fall and awarded in the fall.
