David Coon Memorial Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time student, majoring in Special Education, accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Financial need is a consideration
3. The recipient must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
4. The recipient(s) must submit an essay that illustrates how working with students with special needs has impacted the recipient(s) and how they hope to impact students with special needs through education.
5. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for, and receive, the award again provided she/he continues to meet the criteria stated above.

This award is paid in the Spring Semester.
