English Alumni Scholarship

For sophomores and juniors majoring in English. Requires 3.2 GPA, 35-80 EIU credit hours, financial need, strong character, leadership.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be a full-time student in their sophomore or junior year, majoring in English.
2. The recipient must complete 35-80 hours of EIU work by the end of the semester in which the award is made.
3. The recipient must have an overall GPA of at least 3.2.
4. The recipient must show strong character and potential for leadership.
5. The recipient must display a need for financial assistance.
6. The recipient will not be eligible for this award a second time.

This award is announced in the Spring and disbursed in the Fall.
