Mary Jane Coartney Memorial Creative Writing Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) shall be a full-time student accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient(s) shall be a Junior rank at the time of the award.
3. Preference shall be given to a student majoring in English, History, Journalism, or Theatre Arts.
4. The recipient(s) shall be in good academic standing at the time of the award.
5. All factors being equal, the student demonstrating the greatest ability in creative writing shall be awarded.
6. A recipient shall be eligible to receive the award only once.
