Ozier Child and Family Award

The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient(s) must be a full-time undergraduate student majoring in College of Health and Human Services* or other related field of study with an emphasis on child development in the family services option, or must be a full or part time graduate student in College of Health and Human Services* or other related field of study with a concentration in human and family development, accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient(s) must have an overall GPA of 3.0.
3. The recipient(s) must be of junior standing or above.
4. The recipient(s) must submit a two page typed essay stating their family and consumer sciences career goals and demonstrating commitment to the child development profession including area such as advocacy, foster care and education at all levels.
5. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided they continue to meet the criteria stated above.

This award shall be announced and paid during the Fall semester.
