Joyce S. Crouse Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship
The following criteria must be met:
- The recipient(s) must be a full-time student, accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
- The awards will be issued on a three-year cycle.
- During the first and second year of the cycle, the recipient(s) must be majoring within the health related program formerly known as Family and Consumer Sciences (this could include majors within College of Health and Human Services, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and Lumpkin College of Business and Technology)..
- During the third year of the cycle, the recipient(s) must be registered in the Gerontology Program (now Aging Studies). If there are no suitable Gerontology candidates, then other CHHS candidates may be considered.
- If the Gerontology Program ceases to exist at EIU, then all awards will be made to CHHS recipients.
The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated above.
This award shall be issued in the Fall semester.
